Jeff Gissing, is an experienced organizational leader and an ordained pastor in ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians. He currently serves as Transitional Pastor and Head of Staff of a Presbyterian congregation in the Western suburbs of Chicago.

He is a trusted guide who helps people think deeply, see differently, and understand the world and their place in it.

Jeff has more than eighteen years of ministry leadership experience having served at every organizational level, from individual contributor to senior leader at large and small churches.

He’s currently being trained in transitional ministry in order consult with congregations who are in transition and need a trusted guide to walk with them through the process of reviewing their ministry effectiveness, organizational structures, vision and leadership direction. He received training in organizational health, change management, church revitalization, equipping, and outreach. Jeff will begin training in coaching through CoachNet this fall.

Previous ministry experience includes serving as Marketing Manager for a division of InterVarsity Press (IVP Academic), Pastor for Discipleship at First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem (PA), and ten years of service to InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (USA) in management and field staff capacities. This variety of experiences makes Jeff an agile leader who is able to work with creativity in a variety of settings.

He received his B.A. in Philosophy and Religion from from Samford University and his M.Div. from Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham, Alabama.

Jeff did additional studies at Cambridge University, Princeton Theological Seminary, Cumberland School of Law, and Westminster Theological Seminary.
